Cleaning Your Washable Rug: Step-by-Step Guide

Preparation:

Before washing your rug, remove any loose dirt or debris by shaking it out or vacuuming it gently.

Spot Cleaning:

Address stains promptly by spot cleaning them with a mild soap or stain remover. Test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area of the rug first to ensure compatibility.

Machine Washing :

Just toss it in the machine at or below 30℃/86°F, but remember, no tumble drying! Skip the bleach, iron, and dry cleaning too. Before you start, give it a neat fold. Easy-peasy, right? Your rug will stay fresh and cozy for ages!

  • Sunlight Treatment: Harness the natural sanitizing power of sunlight by airing out your rug outdoors periodically. Sun exposure can help eliminate odors and bacteria, especially useful for rugs with smoke or pet smells.
  • Regular Vacuuming: Maintain the cleanliness of your rug by vacuuming it regularly on both sides. Avoid using rotary vacuums with beater bars to prevent damage to the fibers.
  • Storage: When not in use, store your washable rug in a dry, low-humidity environment. Fold or roll the rug, and ensure it's completely dry to prevent mold or mildew growth.

GORGEOUS QUALITY

I was very impressed of the rug's quality, it has a rubber anti slip surface and the ends have a nice finishing. The colour is the same as in the pictures and it can be easily cleaned up with a wet cloth. It came fast in a box, which shows the responsibility.

LOVE MY AREA RUG

Love my area rug. I went with a 6x6 at my front door which is a high traffic area and its perfect, stays in place and easy to clean. My Roomba vacuum pulls all the dirt right out of it and it also washes really easily too.
